ABOUT ME
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a background in analysis and mechanical design. Fluent in English and German.
I am passionate about everything that moves, automobiles, airplanes, rockets and satellites. I try to keep an open mind to constantly learn new material and like being challenged in solving problems. My fascination with engineering innovation covers a wide variety of mechanical engineering sub-branches, like new manufacturing techniques such as additive manufacturing, the application of new materials such as composites and sandwich structures and the challenge for mechanical systems in extreme thermal and dynamic environments.

EXPERTISE
Mechanical Design
I am skilled in the mechanical design of products including the sizing of machine elements, the command of CAD Software and the application of composite materials.
Structural Analysis
I am highly skilled in the mathematical modelling and simulation of structures using finite-element-analysis, including non-linear static analysis, non-linear dynamic analysis (implicit and explicit), eigenvalue problems as well as shape and topology optimization.
Thermal Analysis
I am skilled in the mathematical modelling and simulation of thermal systems using finite-element-analysis, including steady-state and transient analysis.
Project Management
I have collected first hand experience in the planning, executing and controlling of technical projects in an R&D and engineering environment. Activities such as leading an interdisciplinary team, setting up project timelines and budgets, reporting to internal and external stakeholders as well as the tracking and controlling of project milestones are part of my daily routine.
